Charlies Nail Art

Halloween Water Decals

My apologies for no post yesterday but I've had a super busy week, that I just ran out of time!
But I'm here with my regular Charlies Nail Art review, and another Halloween look.
Today I have the cute water decals and rather than do an ombre, I've applied them over a white base.
These Halloween Water Decals are only 89p and are all singular images that you can use multiple on one nail to create a gorgeous Halloween mani.
I love how simple this looks, but still has the Halloween vibe. Each design is so detailed and just looks stunning.
There are many other Halloween nail art items available on the Charlies Nail Art website, and you can use my discount code BNM15 too!

Born Pretty Store

Neon Glow in the Dark

Hey all, just a quick post today as I'm super busy!
Following on from my Born Pretty post last week on the stunning pink neon glow in the dark powder I'm here with the most gorgeous blue from the same collection.
This time I decided to mix this powder with some clear polish and paint onto a nail tip, as I was wearing a special birthday mani on my own nails.
I also did a video if you want to see exactly what I did and how this applied.
So smooth and just amazing.
And the glow in the dark was awesome!

You can find other colours from this Neon Glow in the Dark Powder item number 46627.

A great way to use this powder, especially if you can't or don't wear gel. And please use my discount code BABX31 over on the Born Pretty Store website.

Freehand Roses

Just for you Mum

Hey all, if you follow me on YouTube and watched my latest video on nail mail, you would have seen some new liner brushes and acrylic paint I purchased especially for today's mani.
Since my Mum passed I've always created a special rose mani in memory of her.
And today's is inspired by Robin Moses.
Instead of doing a french manicure though, I did a pink to white ombre, then following Robin's video, I step by step painted the freehand roses.
I'm super super happy with how these look, but if I could change one thing I'd probably make the roses a bit lighter. Saying that though this is the best ever freehand I've ever done!
Happy birthday Mum, and thank you to Robin Moses for the amazing freehand look you do! ❤

Moyou Nails Fashion

Octoberfest Nails

Hey all, I hope you had a nice weekend. It went way too quickly, as usual! But gave me time to catch up on reviews, and I'm starting with an Octoberfest look using plates from Moyou Nails Fashion and reviewing Trendy 1. A fab plate with many singular images that are great for all year round .
Oktoberfest began as a wedding
celebration more than 200 years ago when Bavaria's Crown Prince Ludwig married Princess Therese of Saxony-Hildburghausen on Oct. 12, 1810. The wedding was celebratedwith multiple days of drinking, feasting and horse races. It's an Autumn festival held in Munich, Germany in late September and early October, featuring the drinking of beer.
I also received these Moyou Nails Fashion Polishes in Black, White, Red and Yellow.
So with these colours, Trendy 1, Urban 4 and square plate 475 I create my Octoberfest mani.
I painted the flag freehand and for the mug if beer stamped a cupcake image and added a handle!
The hat and moustache from Trendy 1 plate stamped crisp and cleanly. A look I've not done before, but one I like.
These Moyou Nails Fashion plates and polishes are just fabulous!
You can also find them on FacebookTwitter
and Instagram.

Charlies Nail Art

3D Skull Charms

Continuing with Halloween looks, I'm here with one of my favourite!
There's something about skulls and roses that I just love.
And these 3D Bronze Skull charms from Charlies Nail Art are the perfect complimentry addition to complete my mani.
You get 2 detailed skulls in a bronze finish, they measure 11mm x 8mm with a flat back and are only 39p!!
I started with a light grey base and added some reverse stamped decals to my nails, then added a skull charm with topcoat.
I was going to matte this, but loved how it looked glossy. The skull charm adhered nicely to even my curved nails. I even went by bus into town and it stayed put!
These are not only perfect for Halloween but also if you have a pirate themed party!
Why not check out the full collection of nail items on the Charlies Nail Art website, and don't forget to use my discount code BNM15!

Born Pretty Store

Neon Pigment Powder

Wow, it feels like I've not been here for ages!
Anyway I'll get right into this review.
As I have success with other pigments and regular polish, I wanted to try these neon ones from Born Pretty.
I have a gorgeous pink and blue, and here with the pink today. Item number 46627.
So I applied my tacky base coat and tried dabbling this neon pink pigment onto my nails, but it came right off!!
So I decided to try stamping with it.
I applied some to a clear stamper, painted the image with white polish, scraped and stamped over with the pigment Stamper, then onto my nails.
My pinky came out great! Then it was down hill from there...
You can sort of make out the roses. I must say though, this is nothing to do with this pigment. It's as I used regular polish and not really stamped with pigments before.
With the blue, I'm going to mix with some clear polish and apply to my nails, so be sure to look out for that post and maybe video.
Please use my discount code BABX31 over on the Born Pretty Store website, on this and any of the other fabulous nail items.

Kaz Creations

Tiger Water Decals

My favourite of all the animal's are tigers. They are truly beautiful and majestic. If I could own a tiger cub, I'd be on cloud 9!
So of course these Tiger Water Decals from Kaz Creations are so me, and I couldn't wait to try them.
A full sheet of different singular images in various sizes. I love the scratch marks and the paw prints are too cute!
You need to cut around each image as close as possible and place in water for 20 seconds. They apply nicely with enough slide for perfect placement.
A matte top coat was more suited and I just absolutely love how these look.

Vampire Fangs

Yes I have another Halloween look today with some golden charms from Charlies Nail Art.
The first week back at school hasn't been that bad, but went quickly too!
So these you get 2 charms that have a curved back so they fit nicely on your nails.
They are called Vampire Fangs and are only 49p and measure 7mm x 6mm.
I tried to do some freehand dripping blood, but not entirely happy with how it came out!
Still though, it a gory look suitable for Halloween.

You could use these fangs to create many different Halloween looks! Applied to my nail with matte topcoat and stuck really well.
As always you can use my discount code BNM15 over on the Charlies Nail Art website,
And can keel up to date with them on Twitter,
Facebook and Instagram.

Sparkle and Co.

August Subscription Box

I'm here today with an exciting post, as I was kindly sent a PR subscription box from Sparkle and Co. I received the August sub box, and before I get into this post, there's a few things I need to say first.

First off I received 2 extra bags of items that do not come in the monthly subscription bags.

My discount code Tracey15 can be used on items on the Sparkle and Co. website, but not on the subscription bags.

If you sign up to become a subscription member, after 6 months you'll receive a free Store credit worth $18.00 and when you place your first order if you mention I referred you, at the checkout, you'll receive a $9 credit by email.
If you sign up for the sub bag and mention I referred you at the checkout, you'll receive an $18 credit by email.
For the October subscription bags the sign up date is 20th September.
So inside I have the 3 dip powder liquids, SB66 Unicorn Fierce, SB67 Marshmallow Moon and SB68 My Little Sparkle dip powders. Yes this August box is unicorn inspired!
Now if you would like to see my unboxing, explaining and creating my mani with these gorgeous dip powders, then check out my video at the end of this post.
But I basically used all three powders on my cindy hand and they are all lush and look awesome together!
Unicorn Fierce is a stunning rainbow full glitter dip. Marshmallow Moon is a purple shimmer, and My Little Sparkle is a gorgeous pink with a blue and purple shimmer.

Of course I had to add some bling! And I absolutely love this mani, and these dip powders are just fabulous as are all the dip liquids.

Back to School Stamping

Yes I'm aware all schools have now reopened after the 6 week Summer holiday, but I'm finally here with some Back to School stamping using a square stamping plate from Moyou Nails Fashion. This plate is on a sale price of £1.99, so grab one while they are still in stock, its Trendy 458.
A fab little plate packed full of all things to do with school, from books to pencils, a calculator and pc monitor to some cute crayons and an apple for the teacher!
So I started with a white base and stamped some blue lines to represent paper in a school book, then with black stamped images from various parts of the plate and coloured a few in. Then stamped onto my nails using foil glue. Finished with a matte top coat.

I absolutely love how this looks and its just a perfect back to school look and plate! I used all polishes from Moyou Nails Fashion. You can also find them on FacebookInstagram and
Twitter.
