Born Pretty Store

Christmas Nail Stickers

How are you all? Well I hope. How's you're Christmas preparations going, I've only just started lol and have finally purchased my first 2 presents!! I'm not normally this late in I'm starting but life has well... just been life!
So anyway sticking with the Christmas theme im here today with these holographic foil sticker from Born Pretty Store.
These Stickers come in so many different colours, all with the same designs. I have shade 16, a silver holo effect.
Now before I carry on I want to explain something to you all so you don't make the same mistake I did! You see the instructions say to peel the sheet off to leave the exposed stickers on the backing. I was trying for ages and thinking that the stickers hadn't been properly cut. Then I just happen to realise they had a clear covering and once you peel this off you can peel the silver backing exposing the stickers. So I took a pic to show you....
Now this is out the way I can get on with my post. On completely dry black polished nails and the clear backing removed, I was able to pick the stickers up with pointed tweezers. They are very thin, and need to be removed carefully. Once in place they stuck well and laid totally flat. The hardest one to place was the flower but using the sheet as a guide helped to show where each part went. I'm not 100% sure if these are foil but they felt like it to me so I used a water based topcoat to protect the finish.

As it was a gloomy full day it was super hard to capture the true beauty of the holo-ness. But I really like how these look. A nice size and plenty of each design to create many looks. Then I had a thought. I never completely removed the silver backing, and wondering if it could be used as a nail vinyl... I will try this and post on my IG if it works.

Milvart

Full Nail Water Decals

So glad to have this back up post for today. Does anyone else do this. I mean I have so many posts to write, but this one was all ready to go. Its another look at some full nail water decals from Milvart.
You may notice my nails are a bit shorter too, this is as I'd filled some length from them then when I wore these decals.
N670 is a colours vertical rainbow gradient decals in a woolly knitted design. Applied over a white base and finished with a matte top coat, these are so pretty.

I really like how the colours run across my nails and the curves helps keep this image looking soft!
So that's all for today and as always stay safe, and much love.....

Moyou Nails Fashion

XL Stamping Plates

Well hello again. I haven't painted my nails for 3 days due to my back. Now and again I suffer with back pain. It comes from a few years ago when I tore a muscle in my back!
So luckily I had just finished my 3 mani's before I was in pain.
Moyou Nails Fashion has released some very nice rectangular XL Stamping Plates. I've already reviewed some and here with another.
Vintage 1 has some gorgeous and detailed floral images. Perfect for any nail length.
I'm also trying out their new Cuticle Peel off Latex.
I found that painting 2 thin coats of the latex worked better than 1 thin layer. It goes on milky white and dries clear. Drying time wasn't too bad. For my first look I stamped one of the full nail lace floral designs in blue over a white base. Check out my IG to see a quick video tutorial on the look and using the latex barrier.
Next up I made white reverse stamped decals and colour some parts in with 2 different shades of Moyou Nails purple polishes. My nails were painted with this lilac. When the decals were dry I cut sections and stuck to my nails us ing foil glue, and finished with a matte
Lastly I loved this leaf image and stamped in black over a white base. Then coloured in each leaf with green water colour paint, and added red blobs to represent roses.
A well etched plate with a nice variety of images in assorted sizes. Use my discount code below and don't forget check out Moyou Nails Fashion over on FacebookInstagram and
Twitter.

Beauty Big Bang

Unicorn Aurora Pigment

Well here we are, the last few days of November. Can you believe it as I know I can't!
It's been a while since my last review for Beauty Big Bang so I'm here with 2 items that work perfectly together. The first is a tiny pot of stunning Aurora Unicorn Pigment, you get 0.5g of pigment. The other items is a
Mermaid Make up Brush in Rose Gold.

Although this is a foundation/blushed brush the bristles are soft enough to use for dusting off excess pigment powders.
I have applied this over white polish first and you can see my detailed live video application below.

In person this was absolutely stunning yet super hard to capture the true beauty.

Then off camera I wanted to try over other colours, so I painted my nails with a pastel green, black, pastel blue and pastel pink. Used the same application method as in my video. Each shade just looked simple amazing, and the only real change was over the black polish. It seemed to go green with an olive green to copper shift.

This pigment has a beautiful pearlized sheen and makes a polish look that bit more special. I especially like it over the pastel blue and pink and with some added bling, oh what a mani!
With free worldwide delivery and payment by PayPal or credit card, Beauty Big Bang offers a huge range of products, and if there is anything they you would like to treat yourself to, then don t forget to use my discount code.
And check out Beauty Big Bang on Facebook,

Charlies Nail Art Review

Run run as fast as you can...

You can't catch me, I'm the gingerbread man!
Hi all, can you guess what my review for
Charlies Nail Art is today? Hope you are all doing good, I am as no school today :)
Anyway back to my review, I have these 2 cute Gingerbread Men charms that are only
69p. They are decorated really well which made me want to try my hand at some more freehand painting.
Outlined in gold and 2 silver gem buttons, make these perfect for Christmas. So into my nails. I recently treated myself to some new acrylic paint and really want to get better at freehand, so what better way to start than now. I'll let you see my mani first, then quickly explain how I created it below.

With three shades of green I painted lines starting longer at the bottom and getting shorter as I went up. Added a brown trunk and white for snow. On my pinky I added a lolly pop. Then main challenge was the gingerbread house. Not as good as I'd like it but happy with it non the less. When I top coated I added the gingerbread man charm as an accent on my ring finger. These charms have a curved back so the for snug on nails. They measure 9mm x5mm.
Definately check Charlies Nail Art to check out their Black Friday deals, and find them also on
FacebookInstagram and Twitter.
Have a great day and weekend.
Stay safe and much love....

IZ Beauty of London

Snowflakes and Bling

Yay Thursday! I'm on full steam ahead and have kittens playing with my feet and climbing my legs whilst reviewing! The little bundle of trouble are super cute and so funny now.
Anyway onto today's review for IZ Beauty of London. This is the first of two reviews, where I will not only be swatch polishes but doing some nail art with stickers. If you've not tried IZ Beauty of London nail stickers before, I'll quickly add here they are not like normal nail stickers. They are much thinner like water decals and lay flatter on even the curviest of nails.
These Gold and Silver Snowflakes are just so detailed and a great selection on sizes and designs. Model Behaviour is the purple and
Invitation Only is the silver holo glitter topcoat.
Model Behaviour is a deep purple gel effect polish. Application was smooth, and swatch with 2 coats and no topcoat.
You can see the awesome shiny finish these gel effects have. Onto the Snowflakes, which I placed random sizes in each nail in silver and one gold. I used Invitation Only as an accent. This polish has all sorted glitters, from tiny hexagon to silver strands, and even a few white glitters.
A perfect Christmas polish, and I wanted to see how it covered for a full nail look and not just a topper. So I applied one coat with the brush, then sponged in another coat for full coverage. I didn't add a top coat and was left with a slight textured feel. I was able to press the glitters in this smoother when the polish was almost dry.
It's so bling and was super hard to capture the true beauty. The snowflake stickers are on a clear backing and at first this is still noticeable when stuck into the dry base polish. But once I applied a later of topcoat, it seemed to dissolve, just leaving a detailed snowflake.
FacebookInstagram and Twitter is the best way to keep up to date with IZ Beauty of London.

Revel Nail

Glitter Dip Powder

Now I do love my dipping powders, and the glitter effect ones are simply gorgeous. With the holiday season fast approaching Revel Nail kindly sent me some stunning glitters dip powders perfect for all the upcoming festivities.
So meet Ingrid, a gorgeous cloudy blue with just the right amount of glitter. For my application I painted a thin even coat of bottle 1 the base gel, to 3/4 of each nail and dipped (working on one nail at a time) then I gently brushed off any excess powder, another coat of the base gel, but to the whole nail this time and dipped again. You can do 2 dips, but I chose to do 3 for this colour. Bottle 2 Activator deals and hardens so you can file, buff and smooth your nails. Another layer of activator, but this time I used a lint free wipe to make sure it was dry and covered the whole nail. Then a quick application with bottle 3 top gel. Once this has dry, another coat of the top to leave a fast drying stunning glossy finish. I wipe my brushes inbetween each coat to avoid and contamination of powder or activator. And here's the finished mani...

Such a pretty glittery shiny finish that looks beautiful on its own, or a great base for some nail are or bling. This is on my hand, as I can test how well these dip powders wear, and I can easily get over 2 weeks with no loss of glossyiness and no chipping, peeling or lifting.
FacebookInstagram and Twitter are all the places you can also find and follow Revel Nail.
Thanks for stopping by and as always stay safe,
much love.....

Nicole Diary

Nail Art Stamping

Hi guys. I'm really not liking the cold weather, neather does my nails! Good job I have lots of lemony flutter and Dr. Pawpaw cuticle balm. What do you use in this colder weather?
I have another square stamping plate from Nicole Diary, I'd love to do more than one plate in one review, but sadly time says no!
Five full nail images fill this plate. The top middle design reminded me off an ugly Christmas jumper! So I made reverse stamped decals, and coloured them with traditional Christmas colours. Finished with a matte top coat.
I wasn't sure if really liked them, nothing to do with the image, just me being lucky. So I added a holo topcoat.
For my next look I went with a plain black stamped with gold, and this image was perfect. Etched well and stamped really well.

A very versatile plate with images that are great for any nail length. You can find Nicole Diary over on Amazon.comAliexpress,
Facebook and Instagram.
As always, stay safe and much love....

Born Pretty Store

Christmas Stamping

How are you all doing, and did you have a nice weekend? Mine was hectic as usual, between family and kittens I didn't know if I was coming or going!
So Christmas is getting ever closer and this stamping plate from Born Pretty Store has some gorgeous almost traditional Christmas designs.
BP-185 has garlands of hanging decorations, and full snowflake image and singular flakes, cute jingle bells and a very pretty yet simple Christmas Tree. The colours I used were inspired by the image over on the Born Pretty website. I just loved the non traditional colours and how the white stamping just popped. So I made a different gradient on each nail and stamped with Born Pretty white, then finished with Born Pretty Matte top coat.

Each image picked up cleanly and stamped perfectly crisp. I'm liking every design in this plate and the contrast between my colours and the white is just so pretty, for those who may want a different Christmas mani. Saying that though this plate has images that can be used not just for Christmas. The heart for Valentine's, stars for all year round and let's face it we don't just get snow in December!!
Please use my discount code above if you make a purchase on the Born Pretty Store website, and check them out on FacebookInstagram
and Twitter.
