Wild
Oh wow not many letters left till this challenge is finished! Hello lovely readers and welcome to a mani that I am so in love with.
My original W for Wild was going to be an orange and black stripe water marble to represent my favourite animal, a tiger. But although I love marbling my nails I wanted to try some freehand tiger print. So my inspiration for this mani was by ProfessionalDQ.
I started out with a white base and sponged a rainbow neon gradient using Revlon polishes, then topped with Collection Sparkle top coat.
Now this is pretty, but I wasn't overall totally happy with it. But I carried on anyway, with a thin striping brush and black acrylic paint I started making my tiger stripes. Last time I tried this I made a mess, and normally stamp. I was determined today to totally freehand this.
Well all I can say is all my practice is surely paying off, as I'm so proud of the finished look, and how the stripes blended in with the rainbow gradient. What do you think?
I'm still struggling with next weeks, but hopefully I'll come up with something. Till then thanks for reading and stay safe, much love..
