Collection Nail Polish Review

Lasting Gel Colour

So today I have a review for you all on Collection Lasting Gel Colour. That states long lasting, gel-like shine that locks in colour. With Gel technology and an easy wide brush.
The colours I was sent to review are In The Shadows, a deep grey colour. Goldfinger, as by the name a metallic gold polish, and Daredevil, which is a browny red colour.

In The Shadows.

Almost black looking in certain lighting, a very rich colour. Here is two coats with no topcoat. Very nice to apply, and so easy with the wide brush. Drying time was nice and quick, with a nice shine finish.
I also wondered if these polishes would stamp, so I tried Goldfinger.

Subtle but yes they do stamp, and I imagine over a lighter colour this gold would look awesome!

Again nice application and quick drying time. In some lights this does look more of an olive gold than a true gold, but still a pretty colour. Two coats with no topcoat, and yes I tried the other colours for stamping.

In The Shadows on my pointer and ring, Daredevil on the rest.

This one is my favourite from the three. A beautiful deep rich rusty red colour. Two coats with no topcoat, great application and drying time.
As for the wear of this polish, I can honestly say that about 15 mins after applying Daredevil, I was able to clean up a spill, and made a cheese sandwich with out one scuff or mark in the polish!! And the glossy finish without a topcoat is amazing.
This polish is available from Boots and Superdrug for about £3.00. And take a look at the Collection
site for all the polishes they do. You can also follow Collection on facebook and twitter
Stay safe and much love....

  1. Lovely swatches, and I love that the gold stamps nicely. I won these polishes from a giveaway from Collection on IG months and months ago but haven't tried them yet, you've inspired me to get them out to try :) x

    1. Thank you and glad to hear that, they are great polishes :) x
