Moyou Nails Fashion

Urban Stamping

I'm sure I was woken up by thunder, but then again I could have been dreaming! So busy, that it totally skipped my mind to write this post and upload my video to YouTube.
I have some more goodies from Moyou Nails Fashion and I'm kicking things off with a fun and easy Chalkboard Stamped mani using

With both full nail and singular images this is such a fab plate. My first thoughts were to create a fun Chalkboard look. Check out my video tutorial below.

So easy to do and a great look. Next up I had a go at double stamping the chevron zig zag image. With a white base I first stamped with Shocking Pink, then lined up and stamped again with black. A bit tricky and you'll see I sort of messed up my middle finger, but still a striking look.
Lastly going back to the single designs, I first stamped over white with Down Grey and the middle image from the 2nd row of full nail designs. Then in black different singular images to create a graffiti style mani.
Such a fab plate with so many ways to use it. For each of my looks I finished with the Moyou Nails Fashion Top coat. A great addition to any stampers collection as it's a perfect non smudge Top coat. No more getting annoyed as you spend an hour or so doing your nails only for the Top coat to spoil it! You find this in my video too.

Vivien Kondor

Permeable Henna Polish

Well that's the first week of the school holidays over. We had a good few days of family fun, till the weather changed to heavy rain, strong winds and thunder. I'm not surprised considering the heat we've had, and it's gonna start warming up again :)
Today I have the next 5 Permeable Henna Polishes from Vivien Kondor London.
These shades are HA11 Satin Gold, HA12 Golden Beige, HA13 Gold Souk, HA14 Amber and HA15 Coral Reef.
2 shimmer and 3 creme polishes. My swatches are with no base or top coat and 2 coats of colour, unless stated below.
Satin Gold is a very delicate neutral shimmer, with yellow undertones.

Golden Beige is slightly darker, another pretty shimmer finish and I had no problems with application.

The first of the creme polishes is Gold Souk. A mustard yellow shade that's so pretty. Yellow is normally one colour that clashes with my skin tone!

Amber is a stunning orange shade, it just looks so juicy.

And lastly Coral Reef. A one coater, awesome coverage and smooth application.

Another 5 fab polishes, if I'm honest the creme finishes are my favourite. I'm liking the glossy finish without top coat, they wear well and no worry about staining as no base coat is needed.
tracey20 is my Discount code that you can use over on the Vivien Kondor website. UK and international delivery and an amazing bunch of colour from all their polish collections. Why not treat yourself! I'll have the next 5 shades from this collection very soon.

Charlies Nail Art

Nail Stickers

After a super fun family day yesterday with sky high temperatures, lots of fun and laughter, it's nice to sit down to write this post. Actually I found the heat somewhat affected the polish, but happily I was still able to create a pretty look using these Aztec Nail Stickers. Only 99p and can be found on the Charlies Nail Art website.
As you can see these are from the new items that have been added to the website. Taking inspiration for my colours from the triangles in the stickers, I created this look...

This stickers peeled off easily from the backing and I cut them into strips long enough for my nails. They stuck well and the clear parts disappeared once top coat is applied. So many looks can be made with these Aztec stickers, and can be paired with any base colour.

Have a good weekend and as always, stay safe and much love.....

Born Pretty Store

Spring Garden Stamping

I've no idea what's going on with the weather! I can't remember a Summer holiday being this hot and nice since I was a kid! I'm not complaining as I'm a Summer person, and today is supposed to be the hottest day of the year so far! Here's hopping the heat don't effect polish..
A day later than I was planning, but here's my review on this Spring Garden Stamping L001 from Born Pretty Store.
The 8 images on this plate are a great size, I love how you can stamp them using the corner to corner of the design, like on a diagonal. Check out my video to see exactly what I mean. Blue and White is so pretty, clean and crisp looking and the rose image is so pretty.

If you watched my video you will know I was wondering if 2 designs from this plate could be layered. Well I had a go and actually like how this looks with a matte finish.

Finally green on green with the beautiful leaf design.

All in a this is super plate for one to have in their collection. Each image picked up and stamped perfectly. I used different polishes and my Born Pretty Store clear stamper and scraper.
BABX31 is my 10% discount code for you all to use over on the Born Pretty Store website. Not forgetting you can keep up to date with them on FacebookInstagram and Twitter.

Milvart

Full Nail Water Decals

Hi guys, not the post I was planning on publishing today, but before I use my new phone around open polish bottles and acetone, I want to have a case and screen protector on it and still waiting for them to be delivered.
So hopefully I'll have them tomorrow, for now though let's look at another 2 sets of water decals from Milvart.
I'm hoping this first photos with my new phone is ok, I'm still getting used to using it. Going from a 13mp to 16mp I've really noticed the difference, much crisper and clearer.
F164 are a silver holographic squiggle design, that also comes in other colours. Sadly I forgot these are kind of a foil look, and my top coat spoiled the holographic finish. But over a black base they still looked amazing.

N977 are a dark but transparent base with rainbow stripes. I wanted to wear these in a different way and do a glossy vs matte look.

I'm not sure if I like how my fingers look with this new camera. As I said so clear and clean. I'll play around with the settings. But back to these water decals, they are both equally beautiful and another 2 sets of awesome decals.
You can check out Milvart over on Facebook
and Instagram.
Till next time, stay safe and much love.....

Beauty Big Bang

Lace Stamping

So let me quickly explain. A while ago my daughter accidentally dropped her phone and cracked the screen, but it was still usable. Until the weekend when the whole screen went purple! Luckily we had the same phones and mine was due for an upgrade. So she is using my old phone till hers is repaired and I'm writing my first blog post on my new phone, though my photos and video was taken on my old phone. Transferring everything over was fun!!
Anyway let's get back to what this post should be about... This stunning lace stamping plate from Beauty Big Bang.
BBB-XL005 has 14 full nail lace images that are so beautiful and detailed. You can see me create all the looks below in my video tutorial at the end of this post, you'll be amazed how well each design picked up and transferred.

Have you a favourite from these? I used different polishes for my base and stamping, but did use my Beauty Big Bang clear stamped and scraper.

As always you can use my discount code TRAB10, if this code is used 6 times then Beauty Big Bang will kindly host a giveaway with me over on IG. You can pay by PayPal and credit card, with free worldwide delivery.

Vivien Kondor

Permeable Henna Collection

It's the first day of the summer holidays and my daughter is bored already lol! She can't go out with her friends as she snapped her travel card and we're waiting on a replacement. Plus over the weekend her phone broke! Mine was ready for upgrade, so that kept me busy!
I have the next 5 swatches from the Permeable Henna from Vivien Kondor.
HA06 Desert Sand, HA07 Rose Gold, HA08 Azim, HA09 Jet Setter and HA10 Cairo. No base or top coat is needed for these and my swatches are all with 2 coats, even though these are highly pigmented.
Desert Sand is a pretty nude shade. Perfect for those days you want something refreshing and simple, yet still super pretty.

Rose Gold is slightly darker but with a golden shimmer that's so delicate .

Azim is what I'd call a chocolate brown, so creamy it was like painting my nails with melted chocolate lol.

Jet Setter is the darkest brown from these, but a super shade and I'd say with grey undertones.

And finally Cairo, another true brown melted chocolate colour.

I just love how creamy these are and considering no base or topcoat, they apply smoothly and dry to a nice shiny finish.
tracey20 is my discount code that you can use over on the Vivien Kondor website. With UK and international delivery why not check out the amazing colours from these collections, and I'll have another 5 next week.
