End of Year Post

My Nails through 2018

So here we are, New Year's Eve and what better time to look back through 2018 and my favourite mani's from each month.
I've only choose a few, as otherwise this post would have been too photo heavy!
So let's get started, and just wait till you see how short my nails where, and watch them get longer by each months photo..
January, these open water decals look fab on their own or coloured in.
February, so happy to have found a way to use pigments with regular polish .
March, just love the effect you can achieve using striping tape.
April, all ready for the warmer weather...
May, missed water marbling and love how these came out.
Rainbow water decals, also look great!
June, love me some rainbow dots!
July, definitely ready for summer with my freehand fruit look.
August, just when we thought football was coming home!
Milvart water decals are the best I've ever used, and just look stunning.
September, back to school with my freehand pencils.
Watercolour freehand flowers in memory of my Mum's birthday.
October, I did so many Halloween mani's, but these are my favourite.
November, freehand again, Lest we Forget.
Love the vintage look of this steampunk design.
December, again I did so many Christmas looks, but my freehand Christmas Day mani is my total favourite.
Freehand again inspired by Naio Nails, getting ready for New Year.
And finally to my very last looks of 2018. Cindy is rocking this gorgeous blue dip powder mani,
and my swatching hand is rocking this bling purple look.
Scrolling through each month and just seeing how much my nails have changed in both shape and length is amazing. I just love my nails atm.
Thank you so much for your continued support and I wish you all a very Happy and safe New Year, and here's to more nails in 2019!
Stay safe and much love....

Charlies Nail Art

New Year Nails

So now we're almost approaching the New Year, I have a quick post today using some stunning charms from Charlies Nail Art.
A perfect addition to add to your nails for a special look to see in the New Year.
The pack of 2 golden star charms have an added AB rhinestone for a touch of extra bling, they measure 10mm x 8mm. The star has a flat back, but the rhinestone part has a rounded back to let the sparkle from the AB rhinestone stand out more, and they are only 49p.
For my look, I stamped some golden stars over a black base and with topcoat applied one of the star gems as an accent nail.
Even with the rounded back, the charm stuck well to my nail, and really completes this New Year look.

As always you can use my discount code over on the Charlies Nail Art website, and can find them also on FacebookInstagram and Twitter.
So that's my final Charlies Nail Art review of 2018, looking back through the year I've enjoyed all the great items I've shared with you, and would like to thank Charlies Nail Art and you my readers too, thank you for your continued support this year.
Stay safe and much love....

Each design is perfect for Christmas, and this is my final lot of Christmas Nails! I've done so many that in a way I'm glad lol.

She Modern

Foil Water Decals

Hope you all had a nice Christmas Day, mine was hectic but many memories were made, with all my children home and seeing my granddaughter's face when she realised Santa had been!
Continuing with the Winter theme, I have these gorgeous black foil water decals from She Modern.
Mixed Arts 14 is a lovely mix of flowers, cute birds and branches, so great to mix and pair together.
I made a winter look base with a light blue polish and stamped snowflakes. I added the branch decals first, then coloured on the flowers and made the cute birds into Robin's, then added these to my nails. Sealed and protected with a matte top coat.

These decals are so versatile and perfect for any season.
You can find She Modern over on Facebook
and Instagram, definitely check them out.
Stay safe and much love....

The Edge Nails

Annika Swatches

So it's Christmas Eve and I'm here with my last post as Brand Ambassador for The Edge Nails.
I have the last 3 Annika polishes, plus done a stamping test with them, so keep reading to find out how they stamped..
White SwanCafè Au Lait and Black Swan are the 3 shades.
Plus I'm also trying The Edge Nails Matte top coat.
White Swan is s true white and perfectly opaque in 2 coats.
My first stamping test using Black Swan, and as you can see it stamped these snowflakes so well.
Now Black Swan as a base colour is just stunning! You could get away with just 1 coat, but I did 2. The finish is so shiny without topcoat.
White Swan stamped well too! The Matte top coat gives a lovely finish, though I did topcoat first before using the matte polish, so no to smear the stamping.

My final swatch is Cafè Au Lait, and it's a lovely nude shade, that's perfect in 2 coats.
I stamped with Deep Velvet, and just look how stunning this combo is..
All the Annika polishes are just amazing and great quality, 11ml bottles in many beautiful shades.
I have a 10% discount code NUTTYABOUTNAILS10 for you all to use over on The Edge Nails website, who are closed for the holidays now, but open again on 2nd Jan.

You can find, follow and like The Edge Nails over on FacebookInstagram and Twitter.
I'd like to take this opportunity to wish you all a very Merry Christmas, with lots of fun and laughter.
Stay safe and much love....

The Gift of Christmas

So I'm back with another Christmas look. The kids have finished school now, and the last preparations are getting there, ready for the big day!
Charlies Nail Art stocks some amazing nail art items, and just lately have totally knocked it out the park with their seasonal items.
These Gift of Christmas Water Decals are just so sweet.
Over a white base I applied these decals to kind of fill each nail, I cut the checked band in half to complete the look. They laid smooth to each nail and just look amazing.

These decals are only 89p, and for UK you can still order from Charlies Nail Art up till Thursday 20th December. If you do please use my discount code below.
