Charlies Nail Art

Oh Christmas Tree

So the days are still zooming by, the weather is horrid and cold, and Christmas nails are here!
I'm trying to slowly introduce Christmas nails and today have a winter look using some cute
Christmas Tree Sequins. You get approx. 150 Christmas tree shapes that measure 8mm x 5mm for only 89p.
So I painted my nails with a blue polish, the sponged on white for snow, added some dotty snowflakes then when top coated applied the Christmas trees.
The look so nice and complete the wintery look I was going for, even though I hate the cold!

Marble Nails

Hey guys, I'm super behind with everything! Plus not liking this colder weather. I really need a kick up the .........
So today for Nail Art UK I have these marble decals by Milvart. Yes, Nail Art UK stocks many fabulous items!

These are full nail decals and are transparent in colour, so need a white base to make them pop and look flawless. They don't need long in the water and have enough slide for perfect placement. Any excess can be cleaned easily.
I finished with a matte top coat and as you can see did an accent nail.
I just love how they look, and super easy and quick too.

Snowmen Charms

So now Halloween Halloween mani's are done with for another year, we turn to Christmas nails. And I will be getting more Christmassy as the weeks continue to fly past!
Today, with the cold weather but as yet no snow, I'm here with 2 cute Snowmen charms
from Charlies Nail Art.
They are 35p for the pack of 2, and measure 6mm x 9mm with a flat back.
On my nails I used an ice blue base and stamped some snowflakes, then applied the little snowmen with top coat.

Such a sweet look and a perfect way to step into Christmas nails. You can use my discount code BNM15 over on the Charlies Nail Art

Born Pretty Store

Bling Nails

So I'm still taking things easy, and not painting my nails as much as I normally do, but these things take time and it really took it out of me!
So today I have some bling nails I created with 2 bling pots from the Born Pretty Store.
Item numbers 45549-2 and 42046-6.
A beautiful selection of gems and much more in each of these pots, and to show you can mix and match these pots even though they are from different collections.
So over a light pink base I applied the darker pink gems to 2 nails and the silver/purple shaped bling and used just regular topcoat. I messed up my middle nail so added extra bling!!

Mermaid Shells

Hey all, I'm so sorry I've missing absent. I'm slowly getting back into things after being poorly with food poisoning!
So again just a quick post today.
From Nail Art UK, I have these colourful
You get plenty in the bag and a nice selection of different colours. For my nails I added some iridescent flakie pigment, then applied the sea shells.

I hope both photos captured how beautiful these shells are, and so quick to use. They would also be great for holiday nails, and could I do with a holiday lol.
Anywho, that's all for today, but don't forget to check out Nail Art UK.

Let it Snow

Hey all, this is gonna be a super short post today as how I managed to do my nails is beyond me! I'm recovering from food poisoning and although I feel better, I'm not 100%.
So it's the start of Christmas nails and to start I have these Let it Snow nail wraps from Charlies Nail Art.
No trickery this time, I was able to gently stretch these decals to fit each nail and gave a much cleaner and smoother finish.
Matte top coat looked better than glossy in my opinion and although I'm not a cold weather person, I really do like the details on these nail wraps.

You can use my discount code BNM15 over on the Charlies Nail Art website, and I'll wrap it up there for today.

Elegant Halloween

So not many Halloween mani's left, and today's is very different. I mean you can have spooky halloween and cute halloween, so why not elegant halloween!
I have some more nail stickers from Nail Art UK.
These spiders and webs also come in silver, but as you see I have the gold. Straight away I though of elegant and painted my nails red. The Stickers were easy to remove from the clear backing, and stuck well even to my curved nails. Sealed with a fast dry topcoat.

She Modern

Spooky Trees Water Decals

I normally do video reviews on these She Modern foil water decals, but time was against me, so I'm here with a blog post instead.
If you have not tried the She Modern decals, there's a few things you need to know first.
You either need the She Modern Grip Gel to help them stick to your nails, or like me with regular polish I use foil glue. You also need to cut around each image as close as possible.
You can see you get a nice assortment of sizes and plenty of them too! This set is called
Graveyard.
For a different base I did a grey and white smooshy effect to try and create an eary look. With dried foil glue I placed the decals to each nail, sponged the tip with black polish and added some extra stamped bats. Finished with a matte top coat.
The foil water decals are available in so many different designs and foil colours, you should go check them out. She Modern. Also take a look at their Instagram.

Yayoge

Halloween Charms

A bit late posting this review today, but better late than never! My final review for Yayoge is on my favourite bling pot from the 4 I was sent.
So I painted my nails black, added some rose sharpie stamping, then the silver skeleton hand.
This pot is item number G308.
I absolutely love this charm, and the fact that if you don't loose them they can be reused! I applied the charm with just top coat and it adhered well to my nail.
Yayoge can also be found over on Facebook
and Instagram.
Hopefully I'll have some more items from Yayoge to share with you all very soon.

Charlies Nail Art

Halloween Nail Wraps

So for my final Halloween review for Charlies Nail Art, I have these full nail wraps.
As I've previously mentioned my nails are longer than these wraps, but that doesn't stop me from being able to wear them. With a bit of clever thinking, and you'll see what I mean from my photos below.
So the wraps are called Vampire Nightmare, and cost only 59p.
So you may not be able to tell but as these decals have an almost black base towards the tip of my nails, I just sponged some black polish. Makes them look complete. I applied only a base coat to my nails, as a base colour isn't really needed. And they have enough slide for perfect placement. Clean up is also easy.

They are absolutely stunning and perfect for Halloween. You can use my discount on any fab nail items available on the Charlies Nail Art website.

Halloween Nail Stickers

Another day, another Halloween look to share.
This one though was so quick and easy to do, that if your in a rush to create a look for Halloween, these nail stickers from Nail Art UK are just perfect.
Single stickers, some glittery but all absolutely beautiful and detailed. They are easy to remove from the backing and stick well.
Even over a plain white base they look so nice. The glitter ones really add sparkle to this Halloween mani!
You can find these Halloween Stickers on the Nail Art UK website, and you can keep up to date with them on FacebookInstagram and

Born Pretty Store

Halloween Stamping

Hello to you all, I'll get right into this post as I have 2 stamping plates to share, both Halloween themed and from Born Pretty Store.
One is a Born Pretty plate, the other is Nicole Diary, and as there's not long till Halloween I have used and tried out both plates in one review.
So the Born Pretty plate is Halloween L007
And the Nicole Diary is L12.
On my swatching hand I did a grey to orange ombre and stamped with Born Pretty black polish using the Born Pretty Halloween stamping plate.
On my cindy hand I had a grey to white ombre and stamped again with the Born Pretty black polish and the Nicole Diary plate.
I have done a video review on these plates, and you can watch me create both these looks.
As always you can use my discount code BABX31 over on the Born Pretty Store website, and you can keep up to date with them on
FacebookInstagram and Twitter.
