Born Pretty Store

Nicole Diary Sequin Gels

Hope you had a good weekend. The last few days of school and a week of very hot weather, I'm sad it's only a week lol as I'm a summer person and I know it will lift my mood and make me feel better, talking of that I get my blood test results on Wednesday, so hopefully my low blood pressure can start being treated!
So today I have a test parcel to review for
Born Pretty Store. I was kindly sent 4 from the 36 colour collection of Sequin Gels from Nicole Diary. With a huge colour range to choose from, go check them out, especially if you love sparkly holographic gels. They come in a seal protected 5ml pot.
I have numbers 5 which is a black holo, 28 is a bright sparkly pink, 18 is an absolutely beautiful purple holo and 11 which is a deep red holo.
I swatched these on my new cheapy practice hand and you can watch my video to see how easy these not only apply but how gorgeous they look on the nails. I cured for 30 seconds per layer with my little LED pen.
They are all equally stunning and I had fun taking my extra hand to the garden for this photo! You should have seen the look on my neighbor's face lol it was priceless!!

As always my discount code BABX31 is available for you to use over on the Born Pretty Store website, for these awesome gels and any other items.
You can find them also on FacebookInstagram
and Twitter. So be sure to check out all the fabulous items!

Charlies Nail Art

Star Sequins

I have today a new item from Charlies Nail Art. A 3 gram bag of transparent star shaped sequins, for only 99p. There are many different shades and can be applied on top of nails using top coat, or encapsulated with gel or acrylic.
I wanted to try a completely different colour base with these, than say good old white or black. I stuck the stars on with topcoat and they adhered well.
And for an out there combination, I think it sorta goes. Definitely different and the flecks of colour from the stars looks so pretty.
So many sequins in this bag, and endless ways to use them. My discount code BNM15 is always available for you to use over on
Charlies Nail Art website.

Nail Art UK

Floral Water Decals

For my last review for Nail Art UK I have another pretty set of floral water decals.
Again a full sheet of flowers and swirls that you need to carefully cut around each design you want to use.
I applied these over a cream base, basically because I'm fed up of always using white polish lol. Sealed and protected with a glossy top coat and done! That's how quick and easy water decals are to use.

You can find many other water decals, nail stickers and more over on the Nail Art UK website, and keep up to date with them on
FacebookInstagram and Twitter.
I'd like to say thank you to Nail Art UK for kindly sending me these items for my honest reviews, and I've enjoyed trying them out!

Moyou Nails Fashion

Bridal Stamping

So I gave myself a kick up the butt to finish this review today, what normally would have taken me a few hours, actually took me all day, but the review is finish!
I have another Bridal Stamping Plate from Moyou Nails Fashion and 4 of their stunning stamping polishes that I absolutely love. Not only can they be used for stamping, but a great base colour and perfect for gradients.
Bridal plate 2 has lots of floral lacey images and can be used for any occasion. As you'll see below my first two looks are colourful and perfect for Summer.
I first painted my nails withStrawberry Surprise, then stamped the floral image using the Clear Stamper and Persian Turquoise. Not normally a colour combo I'd go for, but do kinda like.

Next up, after applying 2 coats of Yellow then stamped with Lilac and one of the longer images from the middle of the plate.

Finally to an actual Bridal look. As I wear a layer of nude dip powder over my nails, I stamped various floral images in white to create a lace look, and it's so elegant and delicate, and perfect for a Wedding.
I hope I've showed you how versatile these stsmping plates can be, and how awesome the polishes are. The clear stamper is perfect for smaller images, and picks up and stamps beautifully.
You can use my discount code above over on the Moyou Nails Fashion website, plus find, follow and like them on FacebookInstagram

The Edge Nails

Amy G Mirror Pigment

Again I'm so glad I did the review last week, as atm I've no energy to do anything let alone my nails! Even writing this post in stages...
So the next item I'm sharing from The Edge Nails is the new Amy G purple mirror pigment.
I've used this with regular black polish from the Annika range also from The Edge Nails.
As I said I have the Purple Mirror Pigment
though there are 6 different colours in this collection.
So what did I do? Well on my ring finger I applied over my tacky base for full nail coverage, but on my other nails I tried stamping, and for a first attempt I'm pretty happy. Of course protected with a layer of water based top coat.
You can check out my video at the end of this post, to see how I created this look and stamped with this Mirror Pigment.
Don't forget to use my brand ambassador discount code NUTTYABOUTNAILS10 and treat yourself to some of the new ranges from Amy G from The Edge Nails.

Summer Tokyo 2019

Hey all, so happy I swatched these two regular polishes from Lovcarrie over on Aliexpress before my anemia kicked in, with blurry vision and dizzy spells, doing my nails is now a challenge in itself. Plus typing up the post took me longer to normal! Off for a blood test this morning before I can get iron tablets!!
Hopefully this don't take too long as I'm not one who likes sitting still for too long, so this has knocked me for six!!
Anyway back to why you are here, my swatches of the gorgeous regular polishes from the Summer Tokyo 2019 collection.
First up is a super pretty teal green and I just love the name!
I'm on a Sushi Roll is a gorgeous creme polish. Swatched with 2 coats and a glossy top coat. You can watch my quick swatch video on Instagram. Drying time is fairly quick and nice application.
Next up is a stunning pink with blue/purple shimmer called All Your Dreams In Vending Machines. Again swatched with 2 coats and a glossy top coat. The shimmer on this is super pretty and just a perfect shade of pink. I also did a quick swatch video that you can find on my Instagram.

There are more new regular polishes from Lovcarrie and I'd recommend them so much! Great easy application, nice drying time and a lovely range of colours and finishes. Head over to Aliexpress and take a look.
Instagram and YouTube is where you can also find them.

Charlies Nail Art

Nautical Water Decals

Another Friday is here again. It's hard to believe there are only a few weeks left at school before the summer holidays! Where did that school year go!!
So today for Charlies Nail Art I have some Nautical Water Decals, they are sized for each nail and each has a different nautical design, cost only 89p.
I still painted my nails with a white base, though its not needed as the decals are already on a white backing. They can be carefully stretched to make a smoother fit and finish, and are so pretty. Finished with a matte top coat, as I felt this suited the look more.

You can use my discount code BNM15 over on the Charlies Nail Art website, for these or any other items you may like. Plus keep up to date with them on FacebookInstagram and

Nail Art UK

Flowers and Butterflies

Hey all, just a quick post today as I'm off out. No where special, and not a place I want to be going either!
Continuing on with my reviews for Nail Art UK
I have some super pretty water decals.
Flowers and Butterflies is a full sheet of single decals, both floral and butterfly designs. Super detailed and extremely beautiful.
I cut around as close as possible to each decal I wanted to use.
Then on a plastic card added some water to each and waited a few seconds. Then using a clear stamper, picked each decal up, and placed on my nails. I love using a stamper to apply smaller, single water decals. It's so much easier and quicker.
They adhered nicely and just look so so pretty over a white base. Finished with 2 coats of top coat, and just love the glossy finish. Reminds me of a fine China design!
I have one more set of floral water decals to try out, so keep a look out for that post.
For now you can find Nail Art UK over on
FacebookInstagram and Twitter.

The Edge Nails

Amy G Crushed Foil

So if you've watched my video on YouTube or seen my posts on Instagram, you'll know the in collaboration with The Edge Nails Amg G has released some new pigments. One of those is a gorgeous pot of crushed foil. There are 6 different colours and I have the Red Crushed Foil.
You get 0.1g of foil, but the pot is filled to the top, and you only use a small amount at a time. This can be applied to the tacky layer of gel polish, encapsulated in acrylic and exactly his I've used it with regular polish.
After painting my nails with 2 coats of this Annika black polish, also from The Edge Nails, I applied foil glue and waited for it to dry. Then using tweezers applied the foil pieces over each nail pressing into the tacky layer of the foul glue. I then top coated with a water based top coat, then my regular top coat.

This crushed foil can be used in so many ways and can create some beautiful looks.
You can find all the fab items on The Edge Nails website and can find all the Amy G items by clicking the link in the side search bar.
Plus use my brand ambassador discount code NUTTYABOUTNAILS10 to save at the same time as treating yourself!
