Indigo Nails

Mermaid Glitters

Hello all, today I have these gorgeous bright neon mermaid glitters from Indigo. I purchased these myself from 2 eBay sellers. Though they can be bought from the indigo website.
I have all 5 colours, Neon Pink, Neon Yellow, Neon Orange, Neon Green and Neon Lila.
I first saw these when Nail Career Education used them with gel polish. I knew I needed them lol and have tried them today with regular topcoat and they worked fine. I applied a slow drying topcoat and sprinkled the different colours over each nail, working on one nail at a time. Topcoat twice to leave a smooth and super sparkly finish. Though for a textured finish, no top coat would be needed.

Just so pretty and I new I needed to stamp over with the rose image from Uberchic 1 plate 2.

Lastly I added a holo topcoat.
Swoon ♡ just love this. I found these glitters so much easier to remove from surrounding skin, as they are much much finer. You can see the full application in my video below.

Have you tried these or any Indigo products?

Moyou Nails Fashion

Swatches and Stamping

Hello friends, to start off this new week I have another review on some Moyou Nails Fashion polishes and a Square Stamping Plate.
First up my swatches on 3 stunning colours, perfect for Spring and Summer.
This beauty is called Razzle Dazzle Rose and was opaque in just 1 coat, but I've swatched with 2 and a topcoat, as this one dried with a waxy matte finish.

Wowzers! How awesome is Torch Red. Again opaque in 1 coat, and another waxy matte finish. Nice to apply and quick drying time. Swatches with 2 coats and topcoat.

The last creme is Powder Blue. A pretty delicate shade, more a light mint green than blue, and perfectly opaque in just one coat. This one dried with a glossy finish and swatched with 2 coats and topcoat.

Lastly I have this Glitter Topcoat. A clear base packed with pink micro glitters. An awesome topper to bling any stamped mani.
I loved this shade of glitter so much that I tried to see if I could make it opaque. Painted 1 coat and used a make up sponge to fab on more glitter coverage.

I used this base for my mani using the cute cupcake plate Trendy 475.
I stamped various parts of this plate and coloured in the cupcakes, flowers and stars with Moyou Nails polishes. I wasn't sure how the creme colours would look over the pink glitter base, but once finished and top coated I absolutely loved it.

Beauty Big Bang

Mixed Metal Nail Foil

Happy Saturday guys! For my next Beauty Big Bang review I have these very pretty and colourful shimmery nail foils. For $3.99 you get 24 sheets of Foil in a complete rainbow of colours.
Now I tried these as normal foils with foil glue and tacky nail polish but sadly couldn't get them to work as per instructions on the Big Bang website. Plus these foils did remind me of Angel Paper, you know where you cut shards and place on your nails for a shatter glass effect. So that's what I did!

My video below explains all about these foils.
FacebookInstagramGoogle+ and Twitter
are all the places you can see and keep up to date with Beauty Big Bang, and my discount code TRAB10 will get you 10% off your order from their website.
I will have some more reviews on some exciting items from Beauty Big Bang very soon, until then have a great weekend and as always stay safe, much love....

Charlies Nail Art Review

Black Netting Nails

I'm positive its not Friday 13th! It may as well be, as both mani's I've done today for my regular Charlies Nail Art didn't turn out as well as I thought they would. You know when you have a picture on your mind, and the end result looks nothing like it!! I'm also not sure if it's as my nails are not as long as I'm used to, therefore these looks on shorter nails just don't go. Or it's just me being too self critical lol.
Anyway today I have tried out Black Netting for nails, this netting comes in 5 different colours measuring 10cm x 7cm for 49p.

The netting is easy to cut into the shape you need, and can be used with acrylic, gel and regular nail polish. Placing over my pink and silver triangle nails was easy with just topcoat and gently pressing down and into place. I think I spoiled this mani by painting in black. As they say 'less is more!' I did find it a bit tricky to cut the excess around my nails neatly, and need more practise at this.
So as the look I had in mind failed, I tried another inspired by Luminous Nails on IG. Now her acrylic mani is fabulous and I tried to recreate with nail polish. Now I do like this one better, but think my shorter nails lets it down, and if longer would have looked so much better.
I will try this netting again when my nails grow how like them, and I think it's a neat look for something different.
FacebookInstagram and Twitter are all the places you can check out Charlies Nail Art and should make an order use my discount code below.

Milvart

Full Nail Water Decals

Hello friends, I'll get straight into this review as I'm still busy decorating. My days are now doing reviews of a morning and decorating in the afternoons into the evening!
Anyway today I have another 2 stunning full nail water decals from Milvart.
Both completely different in style but equally gorgeous. First up is J183, a green and gold marbled effect decal. I like how these are rounded at the ends to make placing on your nails by the cuticle area so much easier and less to clean up.

How striking do these look, the added golden foil lines really makes these decals stand out.
Then we have F138, a super pretty red foil rose decal. I wanted the colour of these to really stand out, and used a white base colour. You can never go wrong with a white and red mani! Topcoat doesn't ruin the foil effect of these decals, and I think they look awesome.

If you've not tried Milvart water decals, I'd definitely recommend them, they stock an amazing range of different designs and finishes, there's surely something for everyone.
Facebook  and Instagram are were you can check out Milvart.

Born Pretty Store

Silicone Stamping Mat

Hi all, I'll get straight into this review today for Born Pretty Store, on the Harunouta Silicone Mat and using BP 99 round stamping plate. Sadly this particular silicsilicone mat is no longer on the website, but hopefully it comes back in stock.

This is my first time using a mat for stamping, yes I'm late to the party lol, but found it so easy and better than having a line of stampers! I could have done better with my stamping, but practise makes perfect. Check out my video below.
I really liked how the topcoat brought back the holo in the roses, and how much quicker it was using this stamping mat. In the sun, this mani mani and it's holographic flare was simply spectacular!

Moyou Nails Fashion

New Polishes

Hello Hello! Today I have a long-ish post on 6 new polishes from Moyou Nails Fashion. These polishes are called the Nature Collection and are all seasonal colours perfect for all occasions and styles. These polishes are all £6.99 each and not only great for stamping, but suitable as a base colour, or making reverse stamped decals.
For each of my swatches I have done 2 coats and topcoat, ( though these could all be a 1 coater!) plus an accent nail showing how they also stamp. The lightest shade I have stamped over black and white, they others have all been stamped over a white base.
Sandstorm.

The lightest shade of these 6, and a very elegant nude beige shade. Application was nice with the large brush, and drying time was fast. You can see how delicate this stamps over white.
Show up more over black, but still very delicate looking. Image from Vintage plate 401
Grey Skies.

This colour is a mauve to grey mix with purple undertones, it's such a pretty shade and very warm looking. Application again as above, and stamped perfectly. Image from Glam plate 400
Midnight Blue.

As the name suggests this is a deep blue and almost jelly looking, stamps a lot lighter than worn as a base colour, but still super pretty. Image from Glam plate 400.
Forest Green.

Another deep yet stunning shade of green and again had a jelly look finish. Not many green shades suit my skin tone, but I absolutely love this one! Application, stamping and drying time is all spot on. Image from Vintage plate 403.
Purple Rain.

This shade is a burgundy purple, and sort of vampy. I can see me using this colour a lot! I love everything about it, the colour is just perfect. Image from Vintage plate 403.
Chestnut Road.

Last but not least is this beautiful berry red, and very sexy red at that! A perfect shade for all year round. Image from Vintage plate 402.
Overall I'm very impressed with these 6 Nature inspired polishes, all easily a 1 coater, dries quickly, a beautiful finish and awesome that these can be used as a nail colour and for stamping.
