Beauty Big Bang

Rose Gold Chrome

Hello lovlies, middle of the week and still sorting out this week's reviews, photos all ready just posts need writing up! I also received my latest items to review from
Beauty Big Bang. The first of these new goodies I'm trying out is the Rose Gold Chrome Pigment. You get 2g of this lush looking powder in a handy little pot, and a sponge applicator.

For a change, I applied this over red polish, you can use black or white, or basically any colour you want to get a different effect. But red was my go to colour today. As per usual I also used my tacky topcoat. The powder applied so well and I buffed to get as much of a chrome look as I could using regular polish.  The first 3 swatch photos are without Top coat.

Then I used a water based top coat then my fast dry topcoat and here's how they look...

I will try this rose gold pigment again over black, just to see if there is much different to the finished look, but for now this is so shiny and such a lush colour.
Beauty Big Bang has so many stunning products, and not just for nails, go take a look at their website.

Water Decals

Hey guys, things are a bit hectic here, I've got this week's reviews all done, but no posts written! Got so carried away doing my nails, how this part slipped my mind....
Anywho I have another 2 floral water decals from Milvart today, a pretty blossom with golden detail, and a super cute forever friends bear.
Both applied over a white base, and just look so pretty. They look like a solid colour, but once you slide then from the backing, you'll notice they are transparent, and that's how the show up so well over white polish. J57 was a bit tricky to photo, as it has so much detail with the flowers and gold foil swirls. One thing I like about these foil ones, is top coat doesn't ruin the foil effect.
N385, now how sweet are these! I love how the pretty daises compliment the cute teddy bear. This one is my favourite from these 2 water decals.
You can find Milvart on Facebook and
Instagram. If you love water decals, and how easy they can create a stunning mani then if recommend you go check out the amazing range over on Milvart website ♡

Cat Eye Powder

Total Flop!

Hi guys, just a quick post today. Hope you are all well. So while I'm waiting on delivery of my next review items from Born Pretty Store, I thought I'd try out some items I purchased with my BP points. One of those was this stunning purple Magnetic Cat Eye Powder.
I painted my nails with black polish and my tacky topcoat. The powder applied so well, although looking matte. I dusted off the excess powder and used my water based polish, while still wet I held the cat eye magnet over as close as I could without touching the polish. Waited for about 20 seconds, but nothing! Zilch! No cat eye effect at all.

Still a very beautiful colour, and my thinking why the magnet didn't work is a few reasons. Could be it does only work with gel, or I dusted too much off so not enough magnetic pigment to create a line, or my magnet isn't strong enough. I've seen others use bar magnets so may buy one just to see.
Have you tried any of these magnetic powders? Have you had better luck than me?

Saturday Nails

Hi all, looking forward to another weekend! So a little back story...when I first started my blog I only really used to post on a Saturday, as that's when I did my nails. Both hands and wore the same mani for a week. I can't really remember when this all changed, but now I'm posting every day during the week, taking the weekend off, or to get ahead with reviews. Well today I have painted my nails for me!
I was looking through Google images the other night, and saw this photo and I just loved the mani so much I needed to try and recreate it.
Here my inspiration pic from Google images. I'm not sure exactly who did this mani, and I hope they don't mind me recreating it. From the watermark I can see Elisa, but can't find anything on social media. If you happen to know this lady could you please comment so I can add her name to my post. I mean credit where credit is due .
So my colours are from VB Line Glazy and Essie Spin The Bottle. For those nails with both colours, I used tape to section the nail then painted the polish.
The leopard print was my best free hand attempt yet! Using acrylic paint. The gems are from a beautiful wheel I purchased from eBay, and I applied them with top coat. So after all that waffling, here's my finished mani.. .

A few years back I wouldn't have been able to wear gems without trying to pick them off, let alone attempted a look like this. I absolutely love it, and just wish my cindy hand nails where longer as I could totally wear this look for ages!
What do you think?
Have a great weekend.

Charlies Nail Art

Pebble Nails

Howdy! Well all school uniform has now been purchased, now it's time to sort out things for my eldest daughter's birthday. It's all go go go here!
So for my usual Friday review for Charlies Nail Art today, I have a cute little bag of multi coloured pebbles.
For 89p you get a bag filled with different colour irregular pebbles. They are all a nice size, not to big and look awesome when mixed together. They stuck well with just top coat, but you could also use these with gel and acrylic.

Such a simple look yet completely stunning and unique. I think the all sorted colours and sizes helps make these pebbles look special, the colours all work nicely together, as do the different sizes and shapes.
FacebookInstagram and Twitter are all the places you can find Charlies Nail Art.
Have yourselves a nice weekend.
Stay safe and much love.....

IZ Beauty of London

Festival Survival Kits

Hey all and what an exciting post I have for you all today. My reaction when I first opened this box of goodies, was like a kid at Christmas lol, such cute packaging which you'll see below.
There are 4 survival kits available from IZ Beauty of London for £22, and if purchased the items separately would cost over £30!
I'll go through each box first.
Pink contains Main Stage gel effect polish, Pink Glitter and No Heat Patterned Neon Wraps.
Purple contains Glastonberry Gel Effect Polish, Purple Rain Glitter and No Heat Neon Stripe Wraps.
Blue contains Dancing in the Rain Gel Effect Polish, Mermaid Tears Glitter and No Heat Neon Diamond Wraps.
Orange contains Sold Out Gel Effect Polish, Tangerine Terror Glitter and No Heat Aztec Wraps. All of these kits also come with the original Dr Paw Paw balm, perfect for creating glitter hair and make up, as well as ensuring  your hands, nails and cuticles are soft no matter what the weather! And a UV glow top coat.
I received the blue kit..
It was like a lucky dip!

So you can see the goodies in the cute box, and first up swatched with 2 coats and the UV glow top coat is Dancing in the Rain Gel Effect.

Such a stunning colour, goes on so smoothly and self leveling. Nice quick drying time too and just look at the glow under UV light!!
For the Mermaid Tears Glitter, I mixed a small amount with some clear polish and painted it over my ring finger. As an accent nail it really compliments the blue polish. Down here with no topcoat.
If you don't mind a textured finish you can leave it like This, but for a more glossy finish I added a topcoat.

The Neon Patterned No Heat Wraps come on a clear backing and 20 different sizes wraps, you also get a nail file.
The all sorted sizes made it so easy to match the right wrap to fit each of my nails. They stuck well, but I found they can also be removed if your not happy with placement. They only stuck firm once pressed totally on your nails. I cut most of the excess, then used the nail glue to remove the rest.

These don't necessarily need top coating, but I did the the UV glow top coat,  and I love how these glowed under my UV light.
Finally we have the original Dr Paw Paw balm. This one is fragrance free, and as you can see from my photo below its a firm non dripping balm. Some ingredients are fruit oil, fruit extract, aloe and barbadensis leaf extract.
Just this small amount was enough for all my nails. Rubbed in nicely and was quickly absorbed into my skin, a noI n greasy formula that has thoroughly nourished my nails and cuticles.
FacebookInstagram and Twitter is where you can keep up to date with IZ Beauty of London, and if your off to a festival or party I hope this Festival Survival Kit helps your nails look their best for your party season.
Thank you so much for stopping by and as always stay in safe, much love....

Water Decals

These school holidays are going so quickly. Sadly the weather hasn't been the greatest for days out, but my daughter is at an age were she prefers to hang out with her friends than Mum!
So I'm back with some more full nail water decals from Milvart to review. Delivery from Russia was just a matter of weeks :)
When I received the latest bunch to review, the first thing I noticed was the new packaging. The cardboard top is now decorated to match the decals inside. Such a nice touch.
N924 is a type of pop art design, a complete full sheet that you can cut to put what images you want on your nails. The two toned checkered background looks so nice too.

J2 is a fun and cute design. The mix of main patterns over the cloud base is perfect and the added gold circles just compliment these and finishes the look.

J192 is a water marble design. The pink and Brown swirls look awesome with the added golden swirls.

Like my previous posts, these decals were super easy to apply and clean up the excess. Top coating to protect them and making them look even better with a glossy finish.
Facebook and Instagram are the places you can check out Milvart.
