Charlies Nail Art

Loose Glitter Strands

That heading would have made me cry a few years ago! Just the thought of loose glitter made my skin crawl lol. How times change, as now I love it!
These 2g resealable bags of Holographic Strand Glitter comes in 12 different colours for only 75p. I have the shade Aqua and they can be found over the Charlies Nail Art website.
Just packed with so much sparkle, I paired with a very similar colour polish. I was thinking of another idea whilst doing my accent nail and sort of added to much lol. Glitter overload below...
They stuck well with just topcoat, and wasn't affected by a layer of topcoat to protect them. This glitter would be great encapsulated in acrylic or dip powder, or use just a few and create a pond mani.
Now the idea I had, was to place each strand on one by one to make feathers! I started with a white base and painted a stem in black. Applied foil glue and once dry I did exactly this! One by one, I stuck these strand glitters to my nails. Yes very time consuming but I think the overall look is super
So many ways these glitter can be used, and how awesome would a rainbow strand glitter look if you had a few different colours!

  2. I like the feather look, and if you got green ones and did this for Christmas, you could create a tree/ornament look! So creative!

  4. I love these as feathers! They might also be good embedded in clear acrylic to make your own charms.
