Mother's Day Present
I'm here blogging again at last. I do apologise for being absent, but family comes first. So anyway today I have painted my nails with polishes I got for Mother's Day. My daughter bought me the Mirror Polishes from Born Pretty.
Although one says top coat, it is actually a base coat to use before the mirror polish. It's thicker than a normal base polish and took a few minutes to dry. I painted my ring and pinky nails with black polish to see what difference there would be.
The application of the mirror polish was slightly unusual. It looked like no polish was on the brush and you could see it drying almost instantly. I think after a few times trying this polish will make the finished look better, as it took me a while to get used to applying it. But for a first attempt the finished look is stunning. The mirror look is awesome, not so over the black base, but I'll try again.
I'm sorry for my dry hands, needing some much tlc lol. Have you got this polish, I think the possibilities for this as a base and nail art are amazing.
Stay safe and much love...
Wow, that's the best mirror effect polish I've ever seen. I wonder if it'll work for stamping with..
