Vivien Kondor

Argon Oil Collection

So I made it! I'm here with the final 9 polishes from the new Argon Oil Collection from
Vivien Kondor. These last bunch of colours are stunning, plus at the end of this post I'll show you 2 test I did with this collection!
So here are the colours...
And we have CL31 Midnight Blue, CL32 Police Strobe, CL33 Mint Green, CL34 Lime Green, CL35 Lemon Grass, CL36 Bumble Bee, CL37 Orange Twist, CL38 Coral and CL39 Satsuma.
Like Royal Purple, Midnight Blue is a dark blue shimmer with micro fine glitter. First coat is slightly sheer, but totally opaque with the 2nd coat. Again all my swatches are with no topcoat.

CL32 Police Strobe is a very beautiful blue creme, and this one was a one coater!

CL33 Mint Green is another nice shade, what I'd call a mid green.

CL34 Lime Green is a bright summer colour, not quite neon but still super pretty.

CL35 Lemon Grass is a subtle pastel green and such a refreshing shade.

I personally don't think some yellow shades suit my skin tone. But CL36 Bumble Bee is such a beauty and so summery.

CL37 Orange Twist matches it's name perfectly, it's such a juicy looking colour.

CL38 Coral is a bright almost neon orange, well to me anyway.

CL39 Satsuma is a very beautiful almost pastel shade.

Apart from Police Strobe, all others were swatched with 2 coats, no top coat so you can see they all have a shiny finish and again all highly pigmented with quick dry time to the touch. They apply so smoothly and seem self leveling.
So onto my tests.. Stamping first.. I applied 2 coats of CL10 White then stamped with CL32 Police Strobe and sealed with CL02 Matte Topcoat.
I'm not sure how well the others would stamp, but as a first test I'm super happy. Next I tried a gradient. With a white base I sponged over CL21 Fuchsia, CL30 Marine Blue and CL36 Bumble Bee. They blended together well to make a pretty rainbow gradient. I them stamped with CL11 Black. A pretty and subtle look.

And here's how the how collection looks together! Priced at £4.99 each these are a super polish with plenty of colours for everyone and I really recommend them. If you want to see closer swatches of them all, check out my video.

Next up I'll be sharing another brand new collection. 40 Permeable Polishes with Henna.
