Nail Wraps Review

Jamberry Nails

First I'd like to start by apologising for not blogging over the weekend. I had a really bad headache that made me feel ill, and didn't want the smell of polish to make it worse. I'm much better now and have been working on this review for Jamberry Nails.
I was contacted by Suzanne Almaguer a Jamberry Nails independent consultant, who kindly sent me some wraps to try and review. I have heard of these before, but never tried them. The package arrived very quickly considering it was postage from America.
I really like the blue and white striped wrap on the sample sheet, and used this first as an accent nail. I used my hairdryer to heat the wraps, and found the application really easy.
Next up was is another striped wrap, but with clear parts. On the understanding you can place these over polish, I made a neon holo gradient again using the wrap as an accent nail.
Finally to the full sheet of Jamberry wraps in a pretty floral design.
Now me and full nail wraps have a love/hate relationship, as I have curved nails and find they wrinkle. So I was curious to see how these would be as the heat makes them more pliable. It started off well, then went a bit dodgy and no matter how many times I tried to smooth them out, the wrinkles didn't move. Apart from this I still like the pattern on these wraps, and for a first time trying them only practice will make application easier.

Have you tried these wraps before? What do you think of them?
Stay safe and much love....

  2. I think they look great for a first application. It takes a few tries to get them perfected. With curvy nails many use what we call the baseball method of application normally helps keep the wrinkles away :) I am glad my package arrived quickly and hope you try them again soon. Thank you so much for the review.

  7. I love the neon holo gradient. I've tried nail wraps before and really not a fan of them especially because of how my nail curves.

  8. Wraps are usually hit or miss with me. I do always try and give them a try whenever possible.

  10. My nails are very curved as well and wraps give me fits, so I tend to stick with water decals if I want some pre-made art. However, I really do like your neon gradient mani and think that was a great use for the striped wrap!

  13. I know many of us have cured or domed shapped nails, me included. Here is a video that will help make sure you dont have wrinkled up Jamberry's. It may take a little practice just like the 1st time you painted your nails but it does make a world of difference. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=crgM-7YsobU
