Patchwork Nails

Halloween Voodoo

Hey all, hope I find you well. What have you got planned for this weekend? I had my 8 month old granddaughter for a sleep over last night, and have all my children here today. But I was still able to do my normal Saturday mani.
I have done this nail art before, but never did a blog post,  so as I love patchwork nails and it's halloween month I thought I'd do it again. I have also done a tutorial.
To start I painted my nails with 2 coats of a pale blue polish and matte top coated. If I'm working with acrylic paint I find it easier with a matte base.
Then with acrylic paint I painted the different parts on each nail.

I added stripes and dots detail on the patches, and an eye and heart on the Voodoo doll.

To finish off I added the black outlines and stitches with a super thin detail brush. I'm not the best at freehand, but happy with how these came out.

Topcoat seals and smooths the acrylic paint.

Then matte top coated again, to show the true effect and I think it looks so much better matte.

And here's my cindy hand :) I'm super happy with these, the best I've ever painted a freehand design with my non dominant hand.

I really hope you like these.
Stay safe and much love....
