Tropical Flowers

Neon and Born Pretty Stamping

Hi all,  it feels like ages since I last did my nails on a Saturday. I've recreated a mani I did in the week for a challenge, but only on 4 nails and I loved it. So I added more colours and did it again on both hands.
With a white polish base I sponged on Revlon neon polishes. I put blobs of polish on some foil and pressed the sponge into it then pressed onto my nails. I gave each nail 2 coats of the sponged neons, and the white base helps them pop. I also forgot to add that I recently purchased some Liquid Latex  from eBay.  I've seen so many ladies use this for an easier clean up, and it looked better than the peel off base and PVA glue I was using.

Obviously you can't use this if you have a latex allergy. I just wanted to put that out there. I cleaned an old polish bottle with acetone and let it air dry, then made a paper funnel and tipped some latex. Just to make it easier to paint around my nails.

Using one of the new Born Pretty Plates BPL 024, I stamped the image 3rd in on the top left, using Pretty Black Polish and my new non sticky Moyou London stamper.

I peeled the latex off once I'd finished stamping, I still a small bit of clean up to do.

I liked the semi matte finish on this, so topped with a matte topcoat.

Super pretty, tropical and Summery. Perfect for the weather in the UK at the moment. I'm also loving my macro lens, slowly getting used to using it.
Have a great weekend and till next time stay safe and much love...

    1. Thank you, it's hard with them being this long unless I find a full image plate, or i double stamp. I tried stretching images but harder for me than it looks x

  3. Love the effect of the sponged base. Liquid latex has been a life saver - so many types of nail art I was steering clear of before because of the clean up but now am attempting again because of it - including water marbling so I'm blaming you for that lol x
