Collection New Polish Review

7 Day Wear Polish

So following on from my review of the Micr O Nail Buffer,  I'm here with my review of 4 polishes from Collection. 3 polishes from their new 7 Day Wear Polish and 1 Long Lasting Nail Effects.

COLLECTION’s NEW Up To 7 Day Wear Nail Polishes (£1.99 each), are a range of 27 fashion forward shades and finishes certain to set you apart as a 2015 trendsetter. Formulated to make your manicure last up to seven days chip-free, these quick-drying, high shine polishes provide the professional finish for less. On sale now.

From left to right we have: 31 Touch of Glamour. 22 Baby Blue. 27 Lemon Meringue and 2 Touch of Pink.
The shiny smooth finish that the Micro Nail left on my nails, does feel like a base coat. Now I never paint my nails without a base coat, but did want to see how polish applied over this finish. So to make it easier I videoed it.

You can see how easy the polish glided onto my nails. I'm so impressed with both products. The micro nail does exactly what it says,  and the polish was so nice to apply. The brush seems bigger and a perfect size. Two coats with no topcoat. Lemon Meringue is such a pretty colour, so Summery. Seemed to have a slight shimmer, and I'm not a yellow polish person as I think it clashes with my skin tone. This one however is just lush.

Next up is Baby Blue. Again I applied this with no base coat, as when I removed the yellow my nails still had the shiny finish.

What a stunner!  Two coats no topcoat, and a perfect colour for Spring/Summer. Drying time was quick to touch dry. Somewhat purpley looking, but wow on nails :)

Touch of Pink is such a delicate colour. A proper girly pink. Two coats with no topcoat.

Gorgeous cream polishes from Collection, beautiful colours for this time of year, nice to apply,  great finish and quick drying time.

Touch of Glamour is a pretty beige polish with gold glitter polish and purple flecks. Very sheer on its own, here is two coats and no topcoat. Not really rough to the touch, but I would recommend a topcoat to protect from chipping.

I then applied one coat over white polish on my pinky and black on my ring finer.
It looks better over the black, or alone in my opinion. A nice polish for a special occasion or Christmas.

I had a feeling the 3 cream polishes would stamp, so I tried over white and black polish. You can see they do :)

You can find these polishes in Superdrug now priced at £1.99.
Don't forget Collection can be found on FacebookTwitterInstagram and YouTube.
