Painting a Picture

Freehand Floral Landscape

I've seen so many beautiful nails freehand painted like a picture of a floral landscape, and they look so pretty. I've been wanting to try it myself, but kept putting it off as my freehand is better than it was, but this type of painting is much smaller and more detailed.  So today I bit the bullet and had a go as I'd seen a picture on Google that I really liked.

So pretty and colourful. Armed with loads of coloured acrylic paints, water and a very fine detail brush I started painting,  working on one nail at a time.  No bearing in mind I haven't tried anything like this before, I'm really proud of my first attempt.

Not sure when I'll try this type of freehand again as it did take a lot of work with the fine detail, but I love these and hope you do to.
Thanks for reading, and as always stay safe and much love...

  2. Wow these are truly beautiful Tracey - topcoat does do some magic in pulling the finished freehand together. I love how bright these are and such a good recreation of your inspiration! <3 You should definitely do more of these freehand designs when you have the time!
