Happy Valentines Day

Valentines Day Nails

Oh my I really wasn't planning on being so late with this post! Hello all and have I had a horrible nail fail day today :(
This is the one and only Valentines manicure I have done, and had no clue what to do other than the normal red nails and hearts. So even though I was late painting my nails today (as my morning didn't go to plan) using an Orly polish called Naughty. Seemed appropriate for today ha ha. But it is a beautiful dark rich looking berry red.

Then with my heart shaped craft paper punch, I cut hearts into tape, stuck on the tips of my nails at an angle and stamped with Moyou nails white and Cheeky plate 6. Took off the tape to reveal the stamped heart. Looked better in my head as I didn't like how it looked on my nails..

So off it came, and time to think of something new!
Then it came to me, a new foil I had bought. Although I was planning on using this for another mani for a challenge, I have something else in mind ( which hopefully turns out ok with my present luck lol)
So I started again and painted my nails with 2 coats of Sally Hansen in Lavender Cloud.

Such a pretty colour and could have done with a third coat, but as it's only a base for the foil this was fine. Just look at this beautiful English Rose foil..

After the foil glue had dried, I applied to each nail. This is an amazing foil, and transferred so well for a patterned foil.

Before topcoat, and I was hoping adding this wouldn't make the foil crack. To my surprise it didn't!!

Not the normal valentines mani, but still pretty roses even if they are not red! And I really like the pattern of the foil, very dreamy and romantic looking. What do you think.
I got the foil on ebay, and such a great seller even sent a free gift and some snippets of some other foils she sells.
That's all for now, stay safe and much love...
