Patchwork Water Marble

Water Marbling and Patchwork

Oh my I really didn't think I was gonna ever finish my nails today! Hello again, a late post from me today. Lets just say life happened this morning lol. Anyway after much deliberation I finally came to a decision of what to do on my nails, as I really wanted to try something different.
I love patchwork nails, and water marbling....so I thought why not try them together!
Well if I had known how long it was gonna take I don't think I would have bothered to be honest, but I started so I finished..

To start I made some water marbled stickers on some plastic. Topcoated when dry to make them a bit stronger.

Then I carefully peeled them from the plastic and cut each one into small shapes..

With my nails already painted white, I applied a topcoat and stuck random pieces to each nail while it was still tacky. And I thought cutting the shapes took me a while!!

Before clean up, and it was at this point I really didn't like them and wanted to give up. So I thought I'd just finish this hand and see how it looked before I attempted the other hand.

Cleaned up and added stitching detail with black acrylic paint, no topcoat and still unsure but did my other hand anyway. Topcoated when finished..

And my other hand..

This took me about 6 hours from start to finish, and even now I'm still unsure on this mani, so I would really like to hear what you guys think.
Now I'm off for a well earned cuppa lol, enjoy the rest of the weekend and I'll be back soon :)
Stay safe and much love..
