Born Pretty Store Review

Patchwork Water Decals

Hello all, sorry I haven't been around all week but again another hectic one here with loads going on. I did however get my mojo back and did a neon patchwork mani on Monday, but didn't have time to blog about it, and I have shortened my nails too. This is the shortest I've had them!!

So for today's nails I have again done another patchwork mani, but using some water decals I was sent from the Born Pretty Store to review. I was also sent a stamping plate which I will hopefully get time to review early next week.

As soon as I saw these pretty and colourful water decals I knew a patchwork design would look awesome with them! And I love this type of nail art design on my nails, so didn't mind taking one off to do another but totally different looking.

I painted my nails white, then added the water decals, and painted pastel polish around the decal on my nails. Then added tiny stitch marks with a very fine detail brush and black acrylic paint.

I think the pastel polish looks so pretty with these decals. They were so easy to use. Just cut the part out you would like to use, hold in some water using tweezers for about 10/20 seconds then carefully slide the decal from the backing paper and place on your nail.
But now look how a few tiny stitches brings this mani to life..before topcoat..

After topcat..

Hope you like this mani as much as I do, and don't forget to take a look at the Born Pretty Store web site if you like these decals, and use my 10% discount code BABX31

Till next time stay safe and much love..
