Zip and Animal Print Nails

Zip water decals and Animal Print

It's seems like ages since I was last here, I just haven't had the oomph to do anything this past week. I think the school holidays are making me lazy! But I was looking forward to doing this nail art design, so hello all :)
Last week I posted a vote on here and my Facebook page, for what nail art you would like to see. I didn't have as much feedback as I was hoping for :( but the winning design was Zip Water Decals. Also as its the beginning of a new month, there is also a new blogger themed nails design  by FBLbloggers, posted over on Twitter #BloggersDoAnimalPrints. So I decided to put both these designs together in one nail art. I have done many Animal Print design before :)

Even on my Daughter nails :)
So this time I wanted to do something different, and the Zip water Decal made that easier for me. I've always wanted to do a zip nail art, I tried freehand painting, but wasn't happy with the result. So I bought these water decals on ebay. Then I found a set of nail stamps, with an awesome zip design. Photos over on my Facebook page.

I started by painting my nails with two coats of Black Fast Dry polish by George at Asda. I got this polish a while back for 75p, and will be going back to get more, This is an awesome polish, the shine is amazing. This photo was taken with no top coat applied!! Adding the water decals was the easy part lol.

For my thumb and ring finger, I was adding an open zip, and wanted it to show a rainbow tiger stripe design. I painted this with acrylic paint, then added the zip.

Thanks to my hubby for help with this pic :)

I'm happy with how these came out, and I'm loving the zip design. Also did my toes with an animal design. I'm not a lover of feet, but here's a pic anyway! I wanted it to look like a tiger and leopard was hiding :)

I would so love to hear from you guys. I reply to anyone who comments. Enjoy the rest of your weekend, and I'll see you again soon :)
Thanks for taking the time to read...
